New York City-based composer/improviser Sam Pluta has been commissioned by numerous American and international ensembles and festivals. He has performed internationally as a laptop soloist and chamber musician—with appearances at the Donaueschingen Festival, the Lucerne Festival, the Moers Festival, Bimhaus, Porgy and Bess, and the Vortex. Sam is Technical Director and composing member of New York City’s Wet Ink Ensemble. His music is released on quiet design and Carrier Records, a recording label he runs with Jeff Snyder and David Franzson.
