His music has received awards from BMI, ASCAP, the Fromm Foundation at Harvard University, and the Union League Arts Foundation, and has been performed in 20 countries by ensembles such as eighth blackbird, KammerensemblN (Stockholm), and Klangforum Wien. He is a frequent performer of his own live electroacoustic works, the more club-oriented pieces under the Soqrmom moniker.
