Chilean composer and guitarist Javier Farías has a prominent musical career composing extensively for the guitar, and collaborating with some of today’s top musicians, including guitarists Eliot Fisk, Benjamin Verdery, David Tanenbaum, Eduardo Isaac, Ricardo Cobo and legendary rock guitarist, Andy Summers, of the rock band The Police.

Some of his works have won first place in some composition competitions in Europe including; the Andrés Segovia (Spain), Michele Pittaluga (Italy) and Concorso 2 de Agosto in Bologna, Italy.

Future collaborations include the San Francisco Conservatory Guitar Ensemble, YOA Orchestra of the Americas along with Sergio & Odair Assad, and jazz fusion premier guitarist Mike Stern.
