American composer, conductor, and pianist Andrew Rindfleisch is the recipient of the Rome Prize, the Aaron Copland Award, the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship, and the Koussevitzky Foundation Commission from the Library of Congress. He has also been the recipient of over 40 other prizes and awards honoring his music, including those from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the Fromm Foundation at Harvard University. He has composed for a wide variety of musical ensembles and organizations. His output includes music for wind ensemble, orchestra, brass, chamber music, solo works, and a large and diverse catalog of unaccompanied choral works.
